• Find out what sources are available to you at the library regarding this topic.
• Which search terms are likely to give you results that are relevant?

2) Develop productive search terms for research on a speech about alternative energy. Conduct a preliminary search in the search engine of your choice. Skim the content on 3-5 of the most promising results. Highlight common terms and phrases. You can use those terms and phrases as you move forward in your research.
