What the USILACS Trade Education Program Is — and Is Not
The USILACS Trade Education Program is a fully online, globally accessible learning platform designed to equip students with the academic and theoretical knowledge needed to pass state, USA, or International certification and licensing exams. Each course is carefully structured to reflect USA professional standards, combining focused instruction, curated video content, downloadable tools, practice assessments, and exam preparation — all delivered through a flexible, self-paced format.
It is important to clarify what this program does not include. USILACS does not provide in-person, hands-on, or field-based training. For skilled trades that require practical experience — such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, or automotive repair — students are expected to supplement their studies with real-world practice through employment, apprenticeships, internships, or supervised training. This hands-on component is essential to meet licensing requirements in many jurisdictions.
For example, a USILACS student can fully prepare for the written portion of a plumbing license exam online, but additional field experience will still be required to obtain full professional licensure.
The USILACS Trade Education Program is ideal for:
- ✅ Individuals seeking to strengthen their knowledge before official testing
- ✅ Career changers preparing to enter a licensed or certified trade
- ✅ Professionals with prior experience pursuing certification eligibility
- ✅ Students combining academic preparation with on-the-job experience
- ✅ Individuals seeking to improve employability or apprenticeship readiness
Students are encouraged to review their local or national licensing board requirements to confirm any additional practical or supervised training hours needed beyond the academic preparation provided by USILACS.
📘 How the 10, 20, and 40-Hour Courses Work (and Stack)
Three levels, one path to mastery. Each higher level includes all content from the levels below —
choose 20 hours and you get everything from 10 + more;
choose 40 hours and you receive 10 + 20 + advanced practical skills and full state and/or national exam preparation. 🌟
💡 Two Smart Ways to Enroll
- 🎯 Best Value: Go straight to the 40-hour program for the most complete training and the lowest cost per hour — includes all lower-level content and exam prep.
- 🔁 Build & Reinforce: Start with 10 → 20 → 40. Stacking adds deliberate passes through core concepts, using repetition for emphasis to strengthen recall and confidence.
🧰 What’s Inside Each Level
- 10-Hour (Core Essentials): Key concepts, terminology, safety, and foundational theory.
- 20-Hour (Core + Applications): Everything in 10-Hour plus deeper coverage, worked examples, and additional assessments.
- 40-Hour (Core + Advanced Practical Skills + Complete Prep): Everything in 10- and 20-Hour plus advanced practical skills, state and/or national exam preparation, and downloadable tools for certification readiness.
❓ Common Questions
- Do I need to take them in order? No — you can enroll directly in the 40-hour and receive all lower-level content. ✅
- Does the 40-hour include the 10 and 20? Yes — fully. Nothing is lost or duplicated.
- Who should stack 10 → 20 → 40? Learners who want extra reinforcement and step-by-step confidence building.
