Document requests are processed in two stages. First, the USILACS Registrar’s Office reviews your request to verify your academic records and requested services. This review is normally completed within five business days, provided there are no missing documents, incomplete records, or other issues that require correction.

Once your request is approved, it is forwarded to the USILACS Document Department. The Document Department normally prepares, prints, scans, and ships approved education documents within five business days. You will receive an email from the Registrar’s Office confirming that your request has been approved. After your documents have been prepared and shipped, you will receive another email confirming shipment, including tracking information when available.

If your request includes a State Apostille or Complete Foreign Legalization, additional government processing time is required after your documents have been prepared by the Document Department. Those services follow separate processing procedures and timelines, which are explained in the related FAQs.

Expedited Processing: If your request includes a State Apostille or Complete Foreign Legalization, expedited processing is not available. Once your documents leave USILACS, processing is controlled by outside government agencies. USILACS cannot accelerate, expedite, or influence government processing at any price.

If your shipping address changes before your documents are mailed, please notify USILACS immediately. Students are responsible for ensuring that USILACS has the correct shipping address on file. Additional shipping charges may apply if documents must be reshipped due to an address change.
