Document Legalization

USILACS Offers Guaranteed State Apostille and Foreign Legalization Service

Before issuing work permits, work visas, or professional licenses, most foreign countries require that educational credentials be legally authenticated for use in their respective jurisdictions.

The process of legalizing education documents has historically been intricate and challenging. However, recently, this process has become even more complex and frustrating. Many countries have temporarily or permanently closed their consulates, which has led to significant confusion and difficulties for those needing their educational documents legalized to return to employment, homes, and essential services in foreign countries.

In today’s global landscape, legalizing documents for international use has become increasingly intricate and often unmanageable for students attempting the process independently. Misinformation and confusion are frequently spread by well-meaning friends, websites, social media, and fellow students. Given the complexity of the current process, many students realize that they must obtain both a state apostille and US State Department authentication before proceeding with foreign legalization. However, dealing with the US State Department is notoriously time-consuming, with some apostille applications requiring up to three months to process. Furthermore, many foreign embassies refuse to provide services to self-represented students for various reasons.

In this continuously shifting geopolitical landscape, it is highly inadvisable for students to manage the legalization of their educational documents on their own. Regulations can change rapidly, and many visa services disseminate outdated or inaccurate information while charging exorbitant fees without delivering the promised results. Most visa services also operate within limited geographical regions. In contrast, USILACS possesses extensive experience in navigating complex jurisdictions such as China, Russia, and others.

For several years, USILACS has assisted students in obtaining apostilles and embassy legalizations. Properly legalized documents can enable students to secure “Expert” or “Long-Term” visas in challenging countries. Conversely, improperly legalized documents often result in visa denials and, in some cases, permanent bans on submitting future visa applications to the respective countries. With legal representatives, attorneys, and established contacts worldwide, USILACS is a recognized expert in legalizing educational documents. USILACS students benefit from the organization’s global network, allowing them to process foreign legalizations through multiple embassies and consulates without being restricted to a single point of contact.
