Wow what a month it has been! In the month May, USILACS students obtained degree and transcript certification and legalization from the State of Florida, Kingdom of Thailand, and People’s Republic of China (PRC). One student even had his degree from USILACS accepted by the New York State Department of Education. These positive developments have really opened the floodgates. The USILACS team (staff and students combine) all deserve tremendous congratulations.
Personally, I have just returned from a working trip to several Asian countries. I was overwhelmed by the interest in USILACS and our programs. We may have hundreds of students enrolling from a few Asia countries for the 2018/2019 year. One of the reasons for this massive interest in our program is that many countries have changed their work permit and visa regulations, and have required a 4-year degree. Many who have worked and lived in some of these Asian countries are being asked to leave their homes and work with very short notice. This trend of requiring a 4-year, legalized and accredited degree, is indeed a global trend. Great preference is being given to degrees obtained and certified in the United States of America, especially for teaching positions.
To fulfill this exploding need for 4-year degrees, USILACS has launched a very innovative program. We have designed a 21-day SSG (Student-led Study Group), which will allow qualified on-line students to fast-track their degrees, while at the same time interacting with fellow students who share their same interests. USILACS has leased a large facility which allows for up to 50-students to live onpremises, and attend study groups all in one safe, secure, and private location in Phrae Thailand. Phrae is a one-hour flight from Bangkok and is ideally situated to fulfill USILACS students’ needs for years. The 2018/2019 academic year is currently enrolling. From the enrollments we are already receiving, I can assure you that 2018/2019 will be a very busy year! We are excited to see so many students who are realizing their dream of expanding their service to their friends worldwide.
Keep up the Great Work!!!
